Hey there! Do you happen to remember your Latin classes? I certainly do – it feels like it was just yesterday! At the beginning, everything was going great, but things got a bit tricky once we finished with the history part and started focusing on conjugations, grammar, declensions, and translations. Back then, my biggest challenge was my teacher, Mrs. Monoye. She was always pushing me hard, and I have to admit that I wasn’t always the most motivated student. I even cheated on one of my final exams and got caught, so I ended up with more Latin homework during the holidays. But looking back on it now, I realize that Mrs. Monoye was just trying to help me develop the tools to understand and appreciate language. In fact, I credit her tough love for helping me develop my love of language and pursue it further. So, here’s a little tribute to Mrs. Monoye – thank you for being so hard on me!
